On our last day with Annie, Nat, and Henry, we went on a whale watching tour. After cursing the weather men who predicted sunshine, we had a very nice day. We had a ferry ride to the San Juan Islands, where we picked up our boat.
Whales! We saw a group of 3 whales shortly after leaving Friday Harbor.
It was difficult getting a good shot since they only surface for a few seconds. These were the best pictures I got.
We also so a couple of bald eagles on our way. Here's the male, and off to the right is his nest.
Here's the mama. She's much bigger than Dad.
Everyone enjoyed the ferry ride back.
So sweet.
