Greg, Claire and I decided to go on a Colorado road trip 4th of July weekend. Our first stop was Colorado Springs, where we took the Cog Railway up Pikes Peak.
Our train conductor said that Catherine Lee Bates wrote "America the Beautiful" during her journey up Pikes Peak.
It is quite the view.
