Lake Okoboji

In the middle of July we went out to Iowa to Lake Okoboji, where we spent some great quality time lakeside with Grandma and Aunt Dana.

Claire absolutely loved the water and spending time on the beach.

We were very fortunate to have several days of good weather this year. You can't always say that about Okoboji week, so we were very thankful!

Lake time with Dad and Aunt Dana was the best! Claire loved being swung in the water, and wasn't scared at all.

Look at that great big smile!

Greg was very proud of his sand castle. He made it while Claire was distracted by the water. As soon as she saw it, though, she came over and smashed it.

One afternoon we looked up from our playing and saw these great sailboats speeding by.

It was such a relaxing week and a wonderful vacation. We are so glad we went and look forward to many more years by the lake!
