White Christmas for Colorado

The day before we left to go to Iowa for Christmas, we got 9 inches of snow! It was very beautiful and very cold. We really wanted to go sledding, but of course we packed up all our snow gear and sent it out to Iowa with Grandpa and his truck. This made perfect sense to us at the time. We didn't know that we would leave all the snow in Colorado and show up for a week in Iowa of weather in the upper 40s.

Aunt Becky stayed with us an extra night because of the snow. Claire helped Daddy unbury her car.

Then she tried to help with the deck in the backyard, and decided that she was done. Let me in, Mama!
